FICTIONARY WIX AGAIN FINAL MAYBE_edited_
When the fiction is stranger than the truth.

The Fictionary Film Company was built on the foundation of the old maxim that fiction is always more interesting than truth. And therefore, a Fictionary Film is a fictional documentary film based on speculation, innuendo and third-person accounts. Little or no research is done because we do not have a research department. Or any departments. And we were recently evicted from our apartment.

All Fictionary Films are filmed on location.

So, enjoy. Just remember that no unanswered questions will be answered.

THE LIFE AND DEATH... final.jpg

“The Life and Death of Tom Thomson Who Was a Painter” is a fictional documentary based on speculation, innuendo and third-person accounts tracing the life and death of Tom Thomson, who was a painter.

In fact, Tom Thomson, considered one of Canada’s most significant artists, died long before he fully realized his talent or became a known entity in the world of art. Some have even called him the James Dean of the art world…well, nobody I know personally, but you know, people say it.

His death has been shrouded in mystery for over a hundred years.

As with all Fictionary Films, this film answers no questions.

“TLADOTTWWAP” has been screened around the world at numerous film festivals, winning numerous awards, including best comedy, best original screenplay, best editing and best film about a Canadian artist who died under mysterious circumstances.
